Safety And Sustainability
Painted Pony recognizes the importance of and is committed to safe, compliant and environmentally conscious operations for its employees, contractors, shareholders and communities. All levels of management are responsible for providing and maintaining a safe work place with proper procedures, training, and equipment to ensure that work activities are performed at a minimum to accepted industry standards and in compliance with government regulations.
All employees and contract workers, as an integral component of their work, share the responsibility to perform their tasks in a safe manner by:
- Observing all safety rules
- Following safe work procedures
- Providing and participating in proper training
- Wearing and using personal protective equipment when required
- Reporting any unsafe work conditions
As of January 1, 2015, all contractors that perform work on Painted Pony worksites will be required to participate in the ENFORM EGSO safety orientation: http://www.enform.ca/resources/detail/76/egso-electronic-general-safety-orientation.
By fulfilling our shared responsibilities we will ensure a safe, healthy and clean work environment.
